Gareth Robert "Gary" Farquhar (born 23 February 1971 in Wick) is a Scottish former professional footballer.
A right winger, Farquhar began his career with Highland League club Brora Rangers. He began his professional career, however, with Paul Sturrock's St. Johnstone in 1994. He remained at McDiarmid Park for four years, making 41 league appearances and scoring four goals. He helped the Perth club win promotion to the Premier Division in 1997 as First Division champions.
In 1998, Farquhar signed for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, for whom he made eleven appearances before returning to the Highland League with Wick Academy in 1999.
As of 31 August, Farquhar will be a free agent as he has not accepted Wick Academy's offer of a new contract. Farquhar has gone full circle and has signed a two-year contract with the Brora Rangers.
